Our 722nd species!

Below: 2 animals found at La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River 25-08-2018 night dive

Below: Feeding sequence of Facelina sp. 8 taken in the River on the evening of 20/09/2018.
The nudibranch approaches the hydroid grasping the stem by bringing together the anterior corners of its foot and opening
its mouth under the hydroid polyp, moves forward to engulf the polyp and then brings its head over and down on the polyp to ingest it.
It probably then went on to eat the next in line. I notice it seems to curl and uncurl the oral tentacles during the process.
